Pros
The mailbox also has a place in top chamber for outgoing mail. While nothing is completely theft proof, it is sure to deter anyone from easily taking your mail.
Sturdy, nice looking, * feature is so nice. The lock opens seamlessly with the key.
If unsuccessful, a camera is next. There was a little problem. Do not believe the negative reviews.
This one is well made and installs easily. Model is exact same size & design as one previous owner had installed years ago and was damaged by a drive-by vehicle necessitating replacement.
Cons
The mailbox was sent to us without a key. An inside flap that had come off its hinges. The bracket was installed and melted so it was rendered unfunctional after less than 3 days. As a secure mailbox, this definitely falls short.

On the other hand the access door will stay closed without being locked

The lock is a little finicky when inserting the key and definitely needs some graphite lubricant

Mounting the box isnt too hard but it may require a smooth surface to increase its rigidity as it appears to be mostly constructed of pvc plastic

If you like to be notified when the mail arrives use a motion sensor inside the box that can send you an alert when the mail falls to the bottom
