Pros

The importance of this tool in my life is self evident any time i forget/misplace/lose it. It comes in handy whether i'm working in the garage or gardening or pulling out a splinter. Just use one of the two flatheads.

Blade is still very sharp and i've never sharpened it. This is lightweight and has the locking mechanism my others do not. Nylon sheath is dirty, but still sturdy in its stitching. It is durable and compact.

Cons

The slide is stiff. The pliers are very stiff. However, the thumb groove is on the wrong side! This issue is enough to keep me away from any of the black multi-tools.

This gerber is terrible. It is very disappointing. But it's got downsides.

The blade is harder to open and the joint for opening and closing is stiffer than my previous gerber so definitely lower quality

Get a cheap but quality tool that you can replace when you inevitably break it

The only damage i have done to this thing is took a small chip out of the knife

In comparison to other gerber models this more cost effective and has all the same features as similar models

Ive been using some sort of gerber multitool for the last ten years

So why spend 100 on a supernice multitool and bend the driver the first time you use it yep

But prob because im a tiny part of the market hahaha
