Pros
The dimmer and timer functions work well. They have a remote or you can manually turn them on and off.
The flame is long and elegant, and the flame is bright and flickering. They also flicker slightly, giving you that real candle effect.
Not a big problem, but good fyi. Lovely--and much safer with pets and children around.
Cons
The taper at the bottom of the candle goes from 1 to 2. The flicker is that really hokey looking series of pulses in two patterns. The color is nothing close to a real flame and i have plenty of faux candles that look similar to the real thing.
Returned both. Must be clearance sale to get rid of defective merchandise. And too late to get a refund. Decided to just live with it and not send back the second order- too much of a hassle.
The first set of candles were all cracked and missing one of the metal base pieces. The replacement set was also broken. Both sets were broken. Everyone of them candles were broken or cracked.

My wife was wrapping xmas gifts for the kids and while she was distracted i hung these around the bedroom
Tapers looked beautiful on the mantel with christmas garland
The flicker flame mode looks so real i was afraid id get odd comments from neighbors on why i put real candles in my windows
My gf and i ordered these for our apartment and part of our halloween decor and ended up leaving them up through christmas
