Plus the alarm the device makes when the fridge door is open too long has cut down on people standing there like they are watching tv while they decide what they want

Although this gadget is mainly to keep the fridge smelling fresh and it does the reason i got it was because of the alarm to alert me when one of the doors doesnt close tightly

I have a three door fridge which i love but one of the top doors doesnt always close completely

The fridge seems to know if the door is open for an extended period and turns itself off from perpetually running so that doesnt help either

Ive had another temperature sensor that attached to the outside of the fridge with probes that supposedly attached inside with suction cups but they didnt stick the wires were in the way the alarms were hard to set and if the thing did go off i couldnt figure out how to turn it off without having to reset the whole thing

There is a setting to have the alarm on or off in case you are cleaning things out and dont want the alarm to sound but when the switch is on it will sure enough make a sound loud enough to tell you the door has been open too long and the temp has risen too much
