The ph scale shows 6 - 7 should read as brown, as the correct color would be greenish to yellowish. Ph down seems to form into gelatinous chunks in your water and the ph just shoots right back up. Had to use almost half the bottle in one adjustment.

Another casualty of * packaging from amazon's warehouse. Amazon claims this item can not be returned and there is no option for refund.
