I found the gelpro floor mat to be exactly as described
All i can say is if you could walk on a cloud it would feel much like walking on the gelpro comfort floor mat

We purchased 3 other mats through amazon they were affordable 2 of the 3 were not working out and we tried to see if we could get 1 that would work by ordering a 2nd after returning the first hoping the 1st was a lemon but the 2nd was a lemon to and back it went we ordered a smaller mat from the same company and it was a no sliding mat we were satisfied but the other mat which matched would not stay put on the tile floor so all were returned

The main traffic area is becoming noticably lighter in color

One thing though is that it is higher than a normal rugmat so you must remember to step up due to the slanted edge
