Pros

This filter is the one that works well with our ge refrigerator/freezer. For the first ever, i have ice that has zero taste. I don't have the instruments to quantatively measure effectiveness, but am reasonably sure it is performing adequately.

The connectors on this thing are not even close to the same. The connector is a little like a chinese finger trap where you stick your fingers in a woven bamboo cylinder and your fingers won't come out until you compress the weave. As soon as it sits ... Read More

Basic granulated charcoal filter. Sleeves break when installing new filter. Have to buy a complete new filter to get 1 sleeve.
