It chimes to let us know that the door has been opened and it chimes if the door is not closed in a reasonable time after it has been opened

The only issue i have is that whenever the system is triggered into alarm you have to go open the doorwindow that was triggered and then close it to reset the system in order to arm it again

If you can follow simple instructions you should be able to install in no time flatif you go the double sided tape route
