Pros

Antennae running to my plex media server via a hauppauge wintv-quadhd pci card. Closest transmitter 50 miles away, receiving 21 channels in total. Uses a 4g/5g filter inline, and a oval rca amplifier and im all set!

It comes completely disassembled so there's a lot of little parts to put together. I found the download able instructions where i could zoom in on the assembly illustrations, which clarified my questions.

And it feeds 2 televisions, via a splitter. Save half of paid tv cable service.

It is mounted on a ole on top of the house above the chimney about 5 feet. Used existing mast so easy to install. Clamped it to a satellite dish bracket that was already there.

Cons

Signal strength is about 1/2 to 1/3 of the old monster. Single ubolt for mounting to mast is not adjustable on the pvc mast i am using. Picked up an rca amplifier at menards - hooked it up and not much better. Farthest usable signal is from a broadcas... Read More

You will have many issues from freezing and pixelated images to having a device like the new tablo dvr having many failed recordings

You really cant go wrong for 40 for this antenna

Pulls in a lot of channels very satisfied and saves me over 100 a mo for cable

For 45 bucks ill take it over the 135 bucks i was spending for stuff i didnt watch
