If you compare these with the lower wattage thinner ge bulb which is also 3000k the ecolux produces a slightly more sunny golden light which is very hard to come by

When the lamps are first powered on after being in an off state they start out a bit orangy but warm up to a soft golden white light that i have seldom seen from a linear fluorescent bulb
