Pros & Cons
Pros
For years i have used a shovel to open up the ground to plant tulip bulbs. It digs like a champ.
Cons
First time using it in the fall planting 20 tulip bulbs bent. Today broke planting 6 hosta bulbs under normal soil circumstances. Don't waste your money. If you can get passed the tip it doesn't work. It only works well on till soil.
When you drill the hole it backfills with dirt even when reversing the drill bit. The end of the auger that goes into the drill becomes crooked and breaks off. The hex drill attachment profile is to smooth and stripped out in less than 1 hour use.
Highlights
Quality
Extremely well made should las a long time
Very sturdy should last a very long time
The auger went through the dirt like a hot knife through butter
You wont get tired using a heavy drill and bulb bit
Shipping
