Pros
Makes hand stitching and saddle stitching so much easier on the fingers. Great product at a great price. I use to string tennis rackets for my father who was a pro.
Cons
Peeling bits of chrome is not good for leather work. And returning is more trouble than they are worth.

One mod i did to one of them is to sand a flat on one side so that particular one wont roll away

These however are not branded and therefore you get three for the price of one

Now understand this is a tiny item in either case so do not confuse it with a fullsized awl such as you would purchase from a hardware dealer to bore holes in wood to start screws or use as a general purpose drift pin
