Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

The blade is finished nicely and snaps open with a flick of the thumb stud. The axis lock performs exactly the same as them too. It's very sturdy and the locking feature is very trustworthy.

Cons

The spring lock is terribly hard to slide back and forth. The omega springs in the cross bar are simply too strong and even with use they won't break in. Really like the design of this knife but its extremely hard to deploy.

Quality

Also do not worry about the 440c it holds up well

Cant speak to the longevity as ive only had it a day but very smooth with the minimal tweaking ive done

Like many ganzos it comes with the blade pivot screw a little too tight

Price

Ganzo is number one as far as i am concerned for budget blades

Competitiveness

Excellent 440c steel blade that you can actually sharpen for about 15 of the price of a bm9402

My favorite ganzo and i’ve had most of them

I also purchased a ganzo g746 at the same time

If you are looking to try out an edc knife with an axis lock without dumping your hardearned cash 100 on a benchmade try this knife out

But under its pretty face there are some issues

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The mediocrethe weight is a compromise no one i do mean no one could put titanium liners of a knife at this price point the extra weight of the rather thick stainless steel liners does give any slash with this knife a bit of extra omph

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The badthe spring weight on both the assist opening the sliding lock are extremely heavy to the point of me contemplating taking off the scales to remove the assist opening trim down the spring on the locking mechanism

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Both in fact are quite difficult to use

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I frequently have reduced hand strength due to a side effect of chemotherapy was interested in the knife due to the ergosstill very good the blade design440c is really expected at this price point so no real issue there the axis lock style locking system since all the sliding lock style knives i have handledmuch higher priced than these knives have easy to use

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

But the locking system is very heavily sprung so is the blade assist

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

On the blade lock i have to use both the thumb forefinger to unlock the blade which somewhat awkward

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

To open the knife i also must use both the thumb forefinger a very hard wrist snap to extend the blade
