Any perceived benefit offered by these glasses is likely placebo in my opinion no disrespect to people who like to use them im just going off my own experience and feelings

I was getting headaches staring at computer screens for most of the day animating thought these would help eye strain they didnt i tried them for around a month before i stopped bothering wearing themi dont think anybody actually needs these glasses but just like wannabe tough guys buy overpriced tactical gear wannabe pro gamers want something they think will make them feel like they are equipping themselves for battle
