When in the backshell the phone is well protected even with the curved glass screen but the case does not interfere with any of the side functions even though the case lips up and around a bit

I love the look and feel of this case not too bulky and easy to insert or remove phone in and out of the case the belt clip seems to be more durable than the ones i had from other brands
