I would say that it is good for a little more than around the house but i would not trust it for someone who works hard manual labor

I just got a new galaxy s7 edge and wanted something to protect the phone

On opening the package i saw the two layers are separate appearing like two separate cases

The inner section also wraps around the sides of the screen and provides some level of screen protection should the phone land face down
