The only reason i got a new one is because i drop my phone a lot which lead to the gray on the corners to wear off over time got a new case and it cracked within the first few days of having it

Ive dropped my phone several times with this case on and the back has scratched a little but my screen is fine and there is no damage to the phone

Prior i had been using otterbox commuter on my galaxy s5 and even though it offered great protection it still made the phone bulky

Never dropped the phone though so cant attest to its protection
