This charger works ok but the cord is not very long and as a result it pulled the wires out of the unit

Im still using it but just a warning about the short cord and if you try to extend it the wires pull out of the unit and are exposed

Id still lose battery power only not quite as much as i would if i didnt have the phone on the charger while using the phones gps function

Enter the noot charger which while not retractable it is coiled and more importantly puts charge to the phone even while the gps app was being used so that i had went from 35 charge to 80 charge after an hour long drive

I noted that some complained about the light on the plug but it wasnt as bad as i was expecting
