The jib/s exists. The ability to use phantom power is great. It works perfectly and is much smaller than the stated dimensions.

There is definitely a heavier chassis out there, but this is a passive device without switches and thus shouldn't be subjected to the same stress as, say, a typical guitar effects pedal. Build/ durability and sturdy design.
