First one wouldnt hold my military had to use the clip but the second one is cool

The only reason i gave it 4 stars is because the loops to hold it sideways are elastic and i wish they were the fabric as the rest of the sheath it lasted my husband every day with multiple day uses for somewhere around 5 months before the elastic broke and a year before the stitching for the other band popped

I removed the clip because the velcro was enough and burned the loose edges back with a lighter
