Pros & Cons
Pros
These are just awesome! Easy install. Well made.
After years of using regular tie down straps on my transom and risking injury to my thumbs/fingers from that * trap lever, these are awesome. Way more ccost effective than b-buckle. Makes tying down and releasing the boat so much easier.
Once mounted to the trailer, these tie downs secure the boat like glue. Take no more than a few seconds to secure the back of my 19' center console.

Works like a charm however, i had to shim it out from the trailer frame to allow the mechanism to work freely.

No more tiedowns all over the place, no more tiedowns lost, no more tiedowns that break, no more tiedowns that are too long, too short, or that don't work.

Bought the set, installed them as per instructions, but the return spring on one of them stopped working towards the end of the fishing season last year so that have to hand ratchet the strap back into the unit.
