Pros

The bristles are firm enough to scrape off the outermost layer of the mushroom and score them a bit. Between the handle and the bristles is a flat plastic tab that can be used for removing gills.

The bamboo knob is fairly comfortable to hold. It fits well into the palm of the hand and is easy to maneuver. It's durable, it's easy to use, and it should last us a long time.

It easily cleans mushrooms. It is easy to control pressure so as to not harm the mushroom. It easily removes all those particles from the mushroom growth medium.

This is lightweight, easy to clean and very functional. Takes up very little drawer space which is great in my already crowded kitchen.



Cons

Not a big fan of the shroom brush. They nearly destroy the mushroom with the slightest bit of pressure. The last one i had was more of a paintbrush and would simply brush the dirt away.

    My regular veggie brush is too firm so i end up rubbing the mushrooms under the faucet with my fingers to get the dirt off which really isn’t a great method
