Bigger pieces don’t fit as well due to odd shapes.

As other reviews state you must cut the fruit pretty small; at least raspberry size.

I was worried that, with this design, the top would come open while in use, but it doesn't at all.

The holes are too large to use as a regular loose-leaf tea diffuser but that's not what it is meant for anyway.
