When combined with the freefly app it takes the guesswork out of aligning the smartphone with the ocular lenses by starting up with a crosshair pattern which you then use to align with the headset fixture

I also own a samsung gear vr by oculus samsung gear vr virtual reality headset but i have found that for the price the freefly vr is a far better value

Additionally the samsung requires you to utilize their vr ecosystem and the freefly allows you to launch any app on your phone to experience other vr beyond their proprietary app

It didnt bother me much though because i become fatigued with vr in general before i would be strained from the weight of the headset

Where its lacking is the lack of adjustability

Many people ive attempted to show vr to using this headset have been largely disappointed due to their poor eyesight and inability to use glasses or make any adjustments

The huge size lenses make the screen extremely large that you truly believe your surrounded in the scenario
