Pros

The marble is smooth and even--no nicks or cracks. It's heavy durable but it may break if dropped on a hard surface. Because the marble is much heavier, it makes rolling out any dough so much easier.

It is very well done. The marble is impeccable. Well priced and a high quality item. Comes with its own cradle for storage right on the countertop.

Cons

No bolts-and-nuts-like fastening, no glues. Edges are unfinished. The end edge of the marble roller was very scarred & it tor up any pastry dough.
