Tri-pods are by far the most sturdy and tallest (over 8ft) that i have found. I like the spring cushioned tubes. Super steady and durable.

The tube 2nd from the bottom does shakeis unstable if extended past about a third of its total length even when locked down tight

The wobble is very minute and i only had an issue with it because the tech i mounted on top has a small motor it was an htc vive lighthouse base station so there was this rattling anytime i used it in that position

Umm had i paid attention in math class 27 is 31 so it pushes against the end of the soft bag

Storing spring cushioned tubes fully compressed for any long periods of time can tend to reduce the springs effectiveness i didnt completely flunk out of school so i would recommend using a 36 or longer bag if you can find one
