Quality
Unlike others who mentioned issues with the fit mine fit just as well as the canon hood
Its cheap it fits perfectly and it feels higher quality than the canon hoods
I replaced these with the screw type hood
Not perfectly aligned but not interfere with the image
Price
The price is right much cheaper than canon
The fit is a little tighter than a canon hood but at less than a third if the cost i cant really complain

As others have stated the fit is a bit tight right out of the box

Other reviews have called this hood flimsy and while it is true that it will bend a little bit if you really try that wont affect its functionality as a hood

Its always a risk to get aftermarket accessories but when i saw that the canon version of this hood was selling for over 50 i had to try fotodioxs version

It takes a scary amount of effort to get that click you get with stock bayonet hoods

If you turn it until it hits a stop its not on the lens straight

I havent noticed it obstructing the lens so mainly its just an issue for perfectionists
