    Most jurisdictions do not allow remote control of gas appliances unless the remote control can only work within line of sight of the appliance

    If you install something like this to control your gas appliance and there is a fire and your insurance company finds out dont expect them to pay the claim if this is a code violation in your jurisdiction

    As others have described you must use the directions on the manufactures web site for it to work on smartthings

    I was under the impression that you could utilize both inputs and both output and see the state of each on smartthings to trigger events however that is not the case

    Once installed on smartthings you can control both outputs and see the state of both inputs
