I love everything mafia related and while i would never wish to meet a real life mobster its books like this that are able to give us a glimpse into the kinds of sleazy back alley dealings and murders that these people really experience

For about 70 of this book its bad guys against bad guys and its difficult to keep everybody straight

The end is weakened when the author tells the reader there is grey in the assassins hair

The reader knows then that it was the cleaner who was killed not the assassin

There is really no reason for the cleaner to make this sacrifice except to leave the plot open for the assassin to stalk the main character

Suggest you also get buffalo soldiers which continues the saga because you will not want what was started in for nothing to end
