Not too big of a deal but id prefer no coating and having to just run warm water on it if it fogged

Fogged aka condensation is all about temperature difference if the mirror is the warm enough compared to the air water vapor wont condense on it

I didnt think i was going to like this mirror and kit however when i took it out of the box i was really surprised
