Curiouser and curiouser. The cat chases the laser dot. The laser is a necessity.

Cons

The refurbished one operates normally but is too inaccurate to be of any use. Also was wildly inaccurate. Replaced it with a klein ir5 which is handling the rainy winter fine so far and fwiw its readings are close to the fluke.
