Did some preinstall searches online and that helped in making the process easier the install was not as simple as the included instruction makes it sound

I suggest others search youtube for installation instructions and the manufacturers site also has several videos on their website although not many were about the exact model number 400a that i purchased and installed

It works great most of the time but occasionally the flap failed to close causing the water leakage

It has been working without any problem for a week after the last adjustment of the chain hopefully it will work fine

Worked well for a few weeks but we had to weigh the flap down after a while so it would close and still have to jiggle the handle from time to time

You will need a small wrench an adjustable would be fine or a pair of pliers for installation i used neither and was able to screw the wing nut on with my fingers without any leaks whatsoever if you are going to do it with your fingers i recommend that after 1 week of it being installed retighten the nut just to make sure that it is completely tight and not leaking
