The main issue is that floors are not perfectly level and if you use this mat on hardwood flooring then you have to put the silicon dots around the edges

This lifts the mat up approx 38 inch and now the mat is even more unlevel when the dots are under the mat and you walk on top the edges will lift because the glass is bending under your feet

The shipping carton however looked like fedex didnt really care that the contents were glass and one of the shortside styrofoam protectors was actually out of place but the tempered glass did just fine despite the rough handling
