The bad things about it were the sensor has to be adjusted to the perfect angle for the remote to work properly and i lightly pulled on the strip one day to adjust it and it broke into 2 pieces rendering it useless

The only harder part to understand is the diy buttons press once to recall a saved diy color then if desired adjust using the color updown buttons then press the same diy button again to save that color to that button

If you press any other buttons other than the color adjust buttons the save doesnt happen

The 3m strip is sticky but the cover tape strip keeps falling off so even when unrolling the lights the tape came off and the 3m strip stuck to everything

Diy button pro tip to use the diy buttons they start off as white and you have to continuously hold down the arrows to change the color
