I did notice the same issue as others with the velcro being uncomfortable behind the knees
Exactly the same as the ones i bought many years ago so i am thrilled
I do find them a little hard to keep up on my knees if im getting up and down a lot but it just comes with the territory
These look to be a better quality

I am not convinced the straps would not still cut into my skin even if i was not 40 lbs overweight but the product would probably work well for a real skinny person

On one hand a single strap holds the pads in place so they prone to move and you have to keep moving them back

On the other hand unless you have giant knees the straps are too long and a velcro section too short
