Used this, at full extension, to prune overhanging branches of a tree. No rope ito tangle and trip on is great and the chain drive seems substantial.

"you just have to be mindful that there is a ribbon (that has its own channel, so it doesn't flap about" first time using the blade. Opens and closes as expected and cuts well. There's a slide handle a few feet from the bottom that works the cutter.

Adjustment is easy, the tool is sturdy, not cheapo plastic. Just unlock the two clasps to fully extend. They use a simple throw lever to loosen and tighten the adjustment.
