The guitar came in a body molded styrofoam box and arrived in good shape.
I was going to get to know it for a bit before i named it, but my wife gave it a long look and dubbed it "midlife crisis.
Competitiveness
It does have a thin neck as compared to other guitars but it's not bad at all.
The closest comparison to this guitars out of box experience is from an epiphone dc pro (genesis 2) and that guitar cost me twice as much.
Overall, for the money, i don't think i could have found a better deal on a guitar.

Firstly the body is awkward but that is the style so it takes some getting used to with any new guitar

I had a rattle on my low e when pressing frets which didnt translate electronically to the amp but was annoying so i will need to tweak the bridge and mess with the action

I didnt have extremely high expectations but the pots and tone switch responded well no crackles and really made noticable differences in waveform

The pickups seemed to detect nuanced strokes and picking without having to be overpronounced striking harder

Thats a bit too hot for me but on a guitar that most everyone will be shredding on i can understand why firefly put them in
