Also for those who have fires on bbq or fire in potpan on stove the simplest way to put out fire is to take away oxygen and turn off ignition source that would be gas to bbq and put lid down fire will go out dont check leave lid down and turn off gas

If fire on stove turn off burner and put the proper fitting lid on potpan if possible move potpan to cold burner or an open stove top that is cooler

After having a close call here at my house i realized that we should have something in place just in case the situation wasnt just a close call and had turned into a full blown fire
