The i saw a youtube review where it was mentioned if you unscrew the cap a metal collar comes off with it and the iron wont work

Sure enough i screwed the plastic cap back on and then pulled it off leaving the metal collar attached

If you want a portable soldering iron either buy a mobile soldering station and spend more than 300 gbp or get this and a 2a usbpowerbank and you have more or less the same for a bargain price

After 25 seconds it turns off

Touching the power button doesnt seem to extend the 25s runtime
