First off, I know that a lot of Amazon reviews are sought out by the sellers, asking for a five-star review otherwise to contact them. No-one reached out to me to give this rating. Secondly, I'm a fairly hard reviewer; I'm only going to give a five-star review to something I'm hugely impressed with.This massage gun fits that bill. I've had massage guns recommended to me for a while and dismissed them given my middling experience with shiatsu machines, percussion massagers, foam rollers, and the like. This is NOTHING like any of that. I've had a huge, painful, movement-restrictive, knotty bind-up through my shoulder trigger points to my neck for a good amount of time. Basically, my entire infraspinatus fascia was a mess. Once it became unbearable, I had a chiropractic adjustment and two professional ninety-minute, cringeworthy-expensive massages to release the tension and I was still hurting and experiencing restricted movement.Out of equal parts desperation and curiosity, I decided to buy a massage gun. Given my previous experience with massage gimmicks, I certainly didn't want to invest one- or two-hundred dollars for perhaps another machine that just didn't help. Once delivered, I sweet-talked my wife into blasting my shoulder's trigger points as well as pained areas of my trapezius and neck. After a good fifteen minutes of heavy pressure and percussion, I was like new. This isn't hyperbole, I was completely relieved of the painful, knotty tension.I can't say that this gun works any better than any other, but what I can say is that it relieved tension that $400 worth of massages and chiropractic couldn't. I can also say that I can't see the difference between this and a $200 gun. Along those lines, I can say that it seems to be built very robustly, and I'm impressed with the build quality for the price.Honestly, if this gun only lasts for a half-dozen massages, then it's earned its keep twelve-fold. Others may be better, but I can't find a fault and for the price, it seems like a steal.  Read Less

I bought this for myself since my shoulder is always tense and full of knots after I work out. The surprise was, my 16 son loves this massage gun so much that we are now happily sharing :-) My son does soccer and running so often his leg muscles are tight. He uses the leg adapter usually after a hard practice or a tough game. He also has started going to the gym in the recent months to work on upper bodies. Then he comes home and uses those round adapters to do deep tissue shoulder massages. Indeed this is great to work the knots out!  Read Less
