Pros & Cons
Pros
Everything is easy to setup using myfavorite apple tv and homekit app. Seems to work fine with homekit but, uses low power bluetooth so distance might be an issue. The fibaro app isn't great but it doesn't bother me since i never open it.
It floats, it's water tight, and the sensors work as advertised. The temp gauge works fine. Sensor seems very sensitive.
It's that easy and everyone in your home app (added users or family) all get the urgent alert. Alerts and home app push notifications are instant. Push notification is fine, but overseas, some ios push notifications do not work.
Cons
The fibaro flood sense works sporadically while at home and does not work at all while being away! No connection - > no alert -> this sensor is useless. Even the app is awful.
I will go with grohe (it is famouse brand in europe, where i am from) bought and returned within a day. But the lid is not. Sending it straight back.

Price
Its more than awesome and for 50 you cannot go wrong
Now i know how much i had to pay for fixing floor
Plus we got a discount on our homeowners insurance because of this automation
This fibaro sensor is a bit overpriced for what it is but the price has come down a bit since it was first released
Shipping
If they had waited 4 days until they were there next it could have been a disaster
I had a frozen pipe situation recently and i wanted to buy a water sensor for underneath my sink but i wanted to make sure it c... Read More
