I switched over to dewalt batteries and as such needed to wire a low voltage cutoff and a 18v to 12v step down.
Comes with a good number of ferrules w/ a good selection of sizes.
It's not a knipex or klein, but neither is the price.
I have installed more the 5,000 ferrules in the last few months with this crimper with no malfunction.

Two dividers were loose in my box, causing four of the sizes to intermingle.

The ends did not come off once crimped on.

The ferrules were not cheap, but the star crimp crimping tools were absolutely ridiculous in price.

Flash forward to the 21st century and amazon, now importing a crimping tool and an assortment of color-coded ferrules and selling them for ridiculously low prices.

The official crimpers for ferrules sold at electronics distributors are costly and for what i needed to do at the time i was not really down with spending hundreds of dollars on one.
