Users show users wrapping their thumb around or placing their thumb on the flat nub of the handle. It is virtually impossible to pour too quickly with it, it is comfortable to hold, and the thermometer is sooo handy!
Cons
When the water boils, it boils over and out of the gooseneck which spills water into your range. The spout of the kettle is low and superheats over the stove.
This polished version is currently unavailable. A thing of form and beauty fails so miserably at the element of function. For actual performance and longevity, look elsewhere.

This product merits a strong do not buy recommendation. Not only was the product destroyed and no longer usable, but the smell and chemical abrasion on my lungs. To spend this much money for it to fail this hard is ridiculous.

The only problem i have is that you cant empty it completely the spout is mounted a little up from the bottom and when you pour it over enough to get the last bit of water out the top falls off
