The reel works very smooth for me. Adjusting the drag is easy and it stays where i want it. Smooth, settings are very touchy. I use it mostly for flipping and it works.

It's hard to beat the quality and feel of the rod &reel. It casts smoothly and is easy to unravel if i get a birds nest.

The magnetic brake is another feature. To understand, the spool is tunes to the weight of the *. To my surprise, it is cranked with the right hand.

Cons

Lasted me 2 months with minimal use.

Reel grinds and will not free spool. Not strong enough for a deep cranking reel. Tensioner knob does absolutely nothing.

I have been fishing a 5500c for years and have a abu garcia rocket but this reel cast longer than the rocket which i paid 250

They cast like a dream and i have some more expensive reels to compare them to and kast king will outcast those reels very very easily

It shows to some reels can be duds but thats with every brand
