Pros

From outside your blinds at night it looks exactly like there is a tv playing inside. It has a 4 to 7hr timer on it and starts working when the sun goes down. The alternating lights are, however, very realistic.

This product delivers what it promises. This, partnered with a smartoutlet is amazing. Smarthome peeps, get it.

Cons

The timer has only on, off, dusk + 4 hours and dusk + 7 hours. It would never reset if i accidentally turned on a light or a lamp on a timer and then it wouldn't go on again unless you reset it.

Product was a great idea, however, it's a very cheaply made plastic product of poor quality and will completely stop working in a short amount of time. Not true. Thieves are way smarter. Would notrecommend buying this product.

Very nice product built better than i expected

Stronger light output and looks just like the tv is on

The fake images that are generated do look like television broadcast

If sunset starts at 5pm… the device will stop working at midnight 7hours which leaves the rest of the night available to prowlers

Price

This is an awesome security investment and the leds 4 hours per day might cost 2 cents per month virtually nothing

The faketv burglar deterrent is an inexpensive little addition to your home security equipment

Unfortunately for us the price went up 25 just before we ordered two of them

Seemed a tad pricey at first but its a good product so that complaint goes out the window

Packaging/appearance

I have it pointed towards slightly opened louvered shutters and it looks great from outside

Looks very realistic and will hopefully be a deterrent to burglars

Competitiveness

Other cheaper models flash too fast this is far more realistic
