Pros

The finish is glossy. The only bad thing is that they are major fingerprint magnets. Does pick up finger prints like crazy though.

The color of these shells is a beautiful red-purple shimmer that shifts to a yellow-green color. Chrome is my husbands fave color and he absolutely loves the new shells.

The aftermarket ones look great. Almost like factory with some minor imperfections if you really look. Overall they look great and i would gladly buy again.

I love that they include even the sl/sr *! My recommendation is to have your switch on and mess with all the * per joycon before closing it. Later models fixed this and they're clicky and easy to press.

Cons

It takes hours and the screw driver broke so now i can't even finish the other side. It’s only the plastic shell, none of the electronics or mechanical components.

Overallgreat casings would definitely recommend if you have the patience and time to replace your joycon casing

On my other set of joycons the screwdrivers worked like a charm

It is kind of time consuming though and i had to take a joycon apart like twice

I dropped my switch a few days ago and it landed on the left joycon busting it into a lot of pieces
