I have yet to use the lightscribe feature but you should know there is software from hp needed for this feature to function

When burning some cds and dvds to send my wifes mri and xrays to the doctor i realised that i no longer had the computer with a lightscribe labeling drive

This one came today and i installed it troublefree on both an hp windows 7 pro machine and a compaq windows xp pro machine

For some reason it seems a little faster burning data on the windows xp pro machine than the windows 7 pro machine
