I purchased these for my 30 year old makita drills which are my favorite drills due to their terrific ergonomics and metal jacobs chuck which has the old fashioned tightening chuck key that holds drills tight unlike the new various lithium chuckless drills i have tried over the years and have been disappointed with for not being able to hold drills tight in chuck
