Pros

Large is big enough for my 4 1/2' king snake. Good thing my terrarium is huge. Our ball python stretches across the top and sometimes snuggles underneath. Big enuf for his whole body.

The rock is plugged in all year round and does not get hot, but rather warm. The heat sensor is inside.

Fantastic option for keeping bearded dragon warm in the evening. I love being able to put the thermostat down but still provide a warm option for our beardy when it's sleepy time.

Cons

This heat rock no longer heats up. It is inadequately heated. Buy an undertank heater instead.
