The strap is tight at first but is flexible as well as adjustable so that is not an issue with my gi or pmags mine seemed fine and maybe the other reviewers product was a little out of spec

The bungee isnt long enough for larger mags

The reason i gave it a 4 was because the bungee is threaded through the back side making it a tight fit when threading the molle into your carrier
